A flurry of schedule changes led to a Mountain West basketball game on national television this Saturday.

The top 20 Colorado State Men’s Basketball Team will play in San Diego State. The game came after CSU (at Boise State) and San Diego State (at home against Nevada) both saw their opponents this weekend placed on a COVID break.

This game will pit the top two teams in the Mountain West preseason poll against each other. CSU was chosen first and San Diego State second.

Saturday’s 2 p.m. Mountain Tip will air on CBS. Here’s what you need to know about the game and how to watch and listen online.

The CSU show is available on KARS 102.9 FM, 98.1 FM (Denver) and the Varsity Network app.

The CSU radio team will consist of Brian Roth (play-by-play) and Adam Nigon (analyst).

Line of bets: San Diego State is a 2.5-point favorite, according to Tipico Sportsbook.

Attendance / tickets: Viejas Arena has a capacity of 12,414 seats.

Coaches: CSU is coached by Niko Medved, who is 63-40 at CSU in his fourth season. He is in his ninth season overall as a head coach with a career record of 142-127. The state of San Diego is coached by Brian Dutcher, who is in his fifth year as leader of the Aztecs. He is 105-34 in his career.

Last outing: CSU’s No.19 basketball team overtakes Air Force after long COVID shutdown

Team records: CSU is 11-0 (1-0 Mountain West) and Saint Mary’s is 9-3 (1-0 Mountain West).

Rankings: The Rams are No.19 in the USA TODAY Coaching Poll and No.20 in the Associated Press Poll. The Aztecs do not receive votes in either poll.

Metric watch: CSU is No. 28 in the NCAA’s NET rankings and San Diego State is No. 54. The Rams are No.39 in the KenPom rankings and the Aztecs are No.41. This is a Quad 1 match for both teams.

Series / last year: CSU is 42-46 against San Diego State. The teams played twice in San Diego last season. CSU won the opener 70-67, coming back by 26 points to win. San Diego State won Game 2 78-65.
