Kindred Set to Host Sustainable Gaming Conference for 7th Consecutive Year in Amsterdam

Related group announced that it will host the Sustainable Gaming Conference for the seventh consecutive year on October 19, at the Johan Cruijff Arena, in Amsterdam. Under the theme “Safer Play – An Honest Conversation”the conference aims to “connect people inside and outside the industry who share Kindred’s goal of transforming the online gaming industry into a trusted and secure industry that contributes positively to society” .

Leading international experts such as main speaker Johann Hari -a New York Times bestselling author-, Dr Jonathan Parkeand Professor Mark Griffiths will share their knowledge. They will be joined by Swedish elite football (SEF) and European Football Development Network (EFDN)among others. The conference coincides with the UK and European Safer Gaming Week and will be a hybrid event where parts of the conference will be streamed.

“We want to facilitate difficult conversations and create a platform where we can all meet and share experiences and ideas. so that together we can find good sustainable solutions for our industry. I am really delighted to welcome Johann Hari as the keynote speaker,” said Anna Jein, Sustainability Manager, Kindred Group. “Hari is a bestselling author on addiction and online behavior and I’m sure the industry can learn a lot from him.”

In a press release, the company explained that it is hosting the Sustainable Gaming Conference “to connect stakeholders inside and outside the industry to discuss how we can all work together to ensure a more sustainable gaming industry.”
