Musselburgh Placepot tips: top tipster Graeme Rodway with his picks | New tips

Musselburgh looks an attractive card for a Placepot and Tommy G is a must in the opening amateur jockeys handicap 1m1f (1.35). It is also worth including the shaped Lilikoi.

Only five have been declared in seller 1m4½f (2.10) and that makes things tricky with only two spots on offer. Magna Moralia and Brazilian Beach are the most attractive.

There could be a lot of early pace in the 7f (2.40) handicap and competition for the lead is my concern for Muntadab from a win perspective. Put it in but also include Global Humor.

Makanah has great luck in the 5f (3.10) condition stakes and is hard to oppose. However, there are only two places on offer and that makes Lampang a must for a backup selection.

Gweedore won well at Ayr a few starts ago and probably did too much too soon in his fourth-place finish last time out. He notes a banker in handicap 7f (3.40) with three places available.

The fillies handicap 7f (4.10) can go to Queenlet, who has more to offer William Haggas.
